What we collect
Only what you type into our forms: company name, VAT number, contact person, phone, email, and the transport details or message you write. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.
Why we use it
To answer your request, to prepare a quote, and to register your company as a carrier we can offer loads to.
Legal basis
Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to cooperation are deleted within 12 months of the last contact. Data of carriers and customers we work with is kept for the duration of the cooperation and for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
Who receives it
Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and processes form submissions on our behalf, and our email provider. Netlify is based in the United States; such transfers rely on the safeguards GDPR provides, such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data and do not share it for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to receive it in a portable format, or object to its use. Write to office@heavyforwarding.com. You also have the right to complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
